One security guard patrols the Council Chambers perimeter and the second security guard patrols <br />the parking structure (Building #19) in front of City Hall to provide a safer passage to and from <br />Council Chambers to Building #19. <br />Council i4leetines <br />Council Meetings will be held every first and third Tuesdays of the month. <br />Officer duty hours: 1730-2100 hours or may be extended until 2300 hours, Officers will remain <br />on duty until released by appropriate authority, <br />Two security guards will be assigned duties for the Santa Ana Council Meeting, Officers will <br />report no later than 1730 hours, An officer will be posted right outside of the Council Chambers. <br />The second officer will provide foot patrols in the parking lot immediately In front of the Council <br />Chambers. Officer is to monitor the area to ensure only authorized vehicles are allowed access <br />to park. Continue to monitor the parking lot area to deter criminal activity, <br />Ross Annex Corridor to Suuerblo& & OC Courthouse Library Parking Structures <br />The Contractor will provide security guard services Monday through Friday, The City reserves <br />the right to adjust the guards' assignment/hours, as needed, to better serve internal and external <br />customers. Below are the duties for tris post: <br />• Perform roving patrols of parking structure interior levels, stairwells, elevators and <br />exterior. <br />• Complete incident and daily operating reports, <br />• Respond as necessary to support other life safety duties as identified in post orders and <br />standard operating procedures. <br />• Provide patrons with direction to axeas within the Civic Center, as needed. <br />• Mitigate various issues that ariso between Superblock and O.C, Courthouse parking <br />structures that serve City HalURoss Annex, <br />• As needed, escort staff or visitors to parking locations upon request if available. (More <br />common during dark. hours) <br />• Report building exterior safety concerns, as necessary: <br />1. Daily/Evening- Verify and report parking garage and Civic Center lighting <br />deficiencies. <br />2. Daily/Evening- Verify and report parking garage elevator deficiencies, <br />3. Evening- Verify City Hall/Annex exterior doors are locked after normal business <br />hours, <br />4. As Needed- Maintain that stairwell access to City Hall courtyard is not obstructed for <br />visitor access, <br />S. As Needed- Advise Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency management <br />of civic center deficiencies between City Hall and parking structures, <br />City of Santa Ana Unwmecl Securlty Guard Servioes RFP <br />Page 37 <br />
