Customers will pay a separate fee in accordance with the rate established by the CITY. <br />Bulky waste collected by CONTRACTOR may not be landfilled or disposed of until the <br />following hierarchy has been followed by the CONTRACTOR. <br />• Reuse as is (if energy efficient) <br />• Disassemble for reuse or recycling <br />• Recycle (through participation of charitable organizations) <br />• Disposal <br />E. Household Hazardous Waste Collection <br />Proposer will commit to providing Household Hazardous Waste events each year allowing <br />residents to deliver their waste to a collection site for proper disposal by Contractor. Contractor <br />will coordinate with the CITY regarding location and date of the events. Event outreach will meet <br />all contractual outreach and education requirements. Acceptable items are provided as <br />Attachment A. <br />4. COMMERCIAL COLLECTION SERVICE <br />Commercial customers include all retail, professional, office, wholesale and industrial facilities, other <br />commercial enterprises offering goods or services to the public; organizations; and agencies other than <br />CITY agencies. CONTRACTOR will be required to service Carts, Bins and Roll -Off boxes stored in <br />customer's solid waste enclosure or other locations as requested by customer. When discussing solid <br />waste, recycling or organic material collection service changes with customers, CONTRACTOR shall <br />provide a rate schedule denoting all service levels and all possible frequencies of collection. <br />4.1 CORE SERVICES FOR COMMERCIAL <br />A. Solid Waste Collection <br />CONTRACTOR will provide Bins, Roll -Off boxes and compactors for collection of solid waste. <br />Customers will have the opportunity to subscribe to the appropriate service level. Collection <br />frequency will be at least once per week and up to six (6) times per week. Roll -Off box service <br />will be made available in containers sizes including 10, 20 and 40 cubic yards. Roll -Off boxes <br />and Compactors, as provided by CONTRACTOR or by Customer, will be serviced as needed. <br />Customers and CONTRACTOR will determine a mutually acceptable collection location. <br />B. Recyclable Materials Collection <br />Proposer will propose a Recyclable Materials Collection program designed to achieve the CITY's <br />goals. CONTRACTOR will be required to offer recycling services to all MFD Customers and <br />provide such services upon request. CONTRACTOR will provide Bins and Roll -Off boxes for <br />collection of recyclable materials. In order to prevent the contamination of recyclables, the <br />contractor will provide "restricted access" lids for recycling collection containers, as needed. <br />C. Organic Material Recycling Collection <br />CONTRACTOR will provide wheeled Carts and Bins for collection of Organic Material, <br />including Yard Waste and/or Food Waste. Customers will have the opportunity to subscribe to the <br />appropriate service level. Carts and/or Bins will be made available. Collection frequency will be <br />at least once (1) per week and up to seven (7) times per week. Customers will pay a separate fee <br />for yard waste collection based on their service level in accordance with rate established by the <br />CITY. <br />25F-69 <br />
