Chairperson Christy opened the public hearing. There <br />were no speakers on the matter and the hearing was closed. Vice Chair Schaefer <br />requested staff add to the Executive Summary under the Fisher Park neighborhood the <br />original owners of the land were the McFadden family who gave the land as a wedding gift <br />to their daughter, Edith, who married Lindsey, who developed River Lane and Sharon <br />Road after their daughter. <br />MOTION: <br />1. Adopt a resolution approving Historic Resources Commission Application No. <br />2017-11 and approving Historic Register Categorization No. 2017-10. <br />2. Recommend that the City Council authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the <br />Council to execute a Mills Act agreement with James S. Skurzynski and Tonya <br />Skurzynski, subject to non -substantive changes approved by the City Manager and <br />City Attorney. <br />MOTION: Schaefer SECOND: Murashie <br />VOTE: AYES: Christy, Garcia, Hardy, Hitterdale, Murashie, Nguyen, Rush, <br />Schaefer (8) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSTAIN: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />COMMENTS <br />STAFF MEMBER COMMENTS <br />Acting Planning Manger Fregoso: <br />. Asked Commission if they would be open to receiving agenda packets electronically <br />and have a hard copy the day of the meeting at the dais. Commissioners agreed to on <br />a trial basis. Chair Christy indicated she will pick-up her packet. <br />Principal Planner Carvajal: <br />Provided an update on the 77 applications for Mills Act Agreements staff received for <br />2017; noted 27 are scheduled for future meetings including today's meeting. Staff is <br />looking at bringing 9-10 applications to the October 5 meeting. There will not be a <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION MINUTES 5 SEPTEMBER 28, 2017 <br />
