Planning Technician Flores provided a presentation which included the history of the <br />property, project description and overview of architectural style. Pamela Schneider, <br />applicant spoke in support of recommended action, provided additional information on the <br />property and noted some of documents she received still list deceased husband. <br />Chairperson Christy opened the public hearing. Discussion ensued on the replacement <br />windows. David Willard spoke indicating he spoke to Mr. Schneider who informed him the <br />windows were replaced with wood windows. There were no additional speakers on the <br />matter and the hearing was closed. <br />AMENDED MOTION: <br />Continue the matter to the next meeting and: <br />1. Correct paperwork with name on title. <br />2. Confirm and correct that the windows are wood. <br />3. HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION APPLICATION NO. 2017-21, HISTORIC <br />REGISTER CATEGORIZATION NO. 2017-20 AND HISTORIC PROPERTY <br />PRESERVATION AGREEMENT NO. 2017-26 <br />(Property: 1121 South Hickory Street — Eastin House) <br />Legal notice published in the Orange County Reporter on September 22, 2017 and notices <br />mailed September 21, 2017. <br />Associate Planner Soto provided a presentation which included the history of the property, <br />project description and overview of architectural style. Discussion ensued on the number <br />of Queen Anne style homes in the city and change designation to Key. Jillian Andrews, <br />applicant, spoke in support of recommended action. Chairperson Christy opened the <br />public hearing. Commission requested an updated photo of the property. There were no <br />additional speakers on the matter and the hearing was closed. <br />MOTION: <br />1. Adopt a resolution approving Historic Resources Commission Application No. <br />2017-21 and approving Historic Register Categorization No. 2017-20 with <br />amendment that the property be characterized as Kev. <br />2.
