hereinabove described streets, but reference hereby is made to <br />said plan or map for all details as to the extent of said <br />assessment district and for any variation between the last <br />mentioned general description and the extent of said assessment <br />district as shown on said plan or map. All public streets or <br />alleys, or portions thereof, hereby are excepted from said dis- <br />trict. That there is within said proposed assessment district, <br />land owned by the City of Santa Aha and land owned by the State <br />of California, which land is devoted to a public purpose and <br />said land shall be included within the assessment in the same <br />manner as though it were privately owned. <br /> <br /> In addition to any assessment upon any property owned <br />by the City of Santa Aha, a portion of the cost and expense of <br />doing the work described herein shall be paid out of the <br />Treasury of the City of Santa Ana from the general fund of said <br />city, that portion which will be so paid by said city shall be <br />the sum of $60,000.00. <br /> <br /> SECTION B. That serial bonds bearing interest at the <br />rate of 6% per annum shall be issued to represent each assess- <br />ment of $50.00 or more remaining unpaid for BO days after the <br />date of the warrant. Said serial bonds shall extend over a <br />period ending nine years from the second day of January next <br />succeeding the next October 15th following their date. Payments <br />on the principal of unpaid assessments and interest shall be <br />made by property owners to the City Treasurer and the sums shall <br />be disbursed by him or as provided in the "Improvement Act of <br />1911" hereinafter referred to. <br /> <br /> SECTION 4. Notice hereby is given that ou February lT, <br />1958, at the hour of ?:BO p.m., in the City Hall of said City <br />of Santa Aha, situated at Brd and Main Streets, any and all <br />persons having any objections to the proposed work or improvemen~ <br />to the extent of the assessment district or both, may appear <br /> <br /> <br />
