<br /> 2]ho people of the State of California do enaCt as follbws:
<br />
<br /> Sgc?~o~ 1. Section 1246.3 is added to the Code of Civil
<br /> Procedure, to read:
<br /> 1246.3. I~/ any inverse condemnation 'proceeding brought
<br />for the taking of any interest in real property, the court
<br />rendering.judgment for the plaintiff by awarding compensa-
<br />tion for such taking, or the attorney representing the public
<br />entity who effects a settlement of such proceeding, shall de-
<br />termine and award or allow to such plaintiff, as a part of such
<br />judgment or settlement, such sam as will, in the opinion of
<br />ttie' court or such attorney, rebnburse such plaintiff for his
<br />reasonable costs, disbursements, and expenses, including rea-
<br />sonablc attornpy, appraisal, and engineering fees, actually
<br />incnrrcd because of such proceeding.
<br /> S~c. 1.3. Section 1246.4 is added to the Code of Civil
<br />Procedure, t~ read:
<br /> 1246.4. I~ any condemnation proceeding in which the final
<br />judgment is that the public entity cannot acquire the real
<br />
