These <br />elements shall be incorporated into a planned sign program for <br />the entire development site. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />All interior components of the structure viewable by the public <br />shall be painted in compatible colors to match the exterior of <br />the structure. The sides of exterior columns and exterior walls <br />that return to the interior shall match the exterior color(s). <br /> <br />Interior <br /> <br />Elevators shall be located where the door and open cab are <br />visible to the public using the facility. The shaft and cab <br />shall have glass backs. Any glass back tinting shall be minimal <br />to allow maximum daytlme as well as nlghttime interior cab <br />surveillance. <br /> <br />Public and semi-private bathrooms are prohibited in the parking <br />structure. Private bathrooms for the parking attendant shall be <br />located where the doors are immediately adjacent to the parking <br />attendant office or station and be visible to the attendant on <br />duty. <br /> <br />All solid stairwell doors shall be provided with viewing <br />panels. Blind corners in stairwells shall be eliminated through <br />the use of convex mirror. <br /> <br />Garage stairwells at ground level shall be fully enclosed and <br />designed to provide maximum interior visibility of the <br />stairwell. The enclosure must be equipped with a control <br />in/free out form of access control. <br /> <br />III. Circulation <br /> <br />Entrances and exits shall be designed and located to minimize <br />impacts on residential streets and busy intersections. <br /> <br />The design of entrances and exits shall, minimize conflicts with <br />pedestrian movements. <br /> <br />Dead-end or "hammerhead" type parking is not an acceptable <br />solution to parking circulation. Fully integrated parking <br />and/or a turning radius are usable methods to achieve proper <br />circulation. <br /> <br />Elevator and stair shafts, mechanical rooms and similar visual <br />disruptions located on the interior of parking levels shall be <br />minimized. Pedestrian and vehicle vertical circulation elements <br />shall be placed on the periphery of the floor area to obtain the <br />maximum amount of level floor areas. <br /> <br />Ail stairwells shall be of an open air design and stairs should <br />be open to both the interior and exterior of the structure. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
