The rate to be charged for <br />an increase in the size of a fire service installation <br />shall be the same as the cost of a fire service <br />installation of the larger size. <br /> <br />The rate to be charged for the installation of a new <br />public fire hydrant is $5,000. The rate to be charged <br />for relocating an existing public fire hydrant is <br />$4,000. <br /> <br />The construction of special installations not mentioned <br />herein, nor specifically provided for in any other <br />ordinance or resolution of the City of Santa Ana, shall <br />be made on the basis of cost, including overhead. In <br />any such installation, the applicant shall post the <br />deposit in an amount estimated by the Director of <br />Public Works to be sufficient to cover the total <br />charge. In the event the actual cost is less than the <br />deposit, the balance shall be refunded to the <br />applicant, and if more, shall be paid by the applicant <br />upon receipt of additional billing. <br /> <br />E.
