ESOL T ON 96-03 609 <br /> <br />The rate to be charged for an increase in the size of <br />service shall be the same as for cost of service <br />installation for the large size of service. <br /> <br />D~t~tor Ch~k Va]v~ <br /> <br />2" $ 2,000 <br />3" 3,100 <br />4" 4,400 <br />6" 5,400 <br />8" 6,300 <br />10" 7,300 <br /> <br />The rate to be charged for relocating a fire service <br />and detector check valve shall be the same as the <br />costof a new fire service installation based upon the <br />size of the installation. The rate to be charged for <br />an increase in the size of a fire service installation <br />shall be the same as the cost of a fire service <br />installation of the larger size. <br /> <br />The rate to be charged for the installation of a new <br />public fire hydrant is $5,000. The rate to be charged <br />for relocating an existing public fire hydrant is <br />$4,000. <br /> <br />The construction of special installations not mentioned <br />herein, nor specifically provided for in any other <br />ordinance or resolution of the City of Santa Ana, shall <br />be made on the basis of cost, including overhead. In <br />any such installation, the applicant shall post the <br />deposit in an amount estimated by the Director of <br />Public Works to be sufficient to cover the total <br />charge. In the event the actual cost is less than the <br />deposit, the balance shall be refunded to the <br />applicant, and if more, shall be paid by the applicant <br />upon receipt of additional billing. <br /> <br />E. SERVI~ IN~T~LLATTON OUT~IDE ~IT¥ LIMIT~ <br /> <br />The rate to be charged for installation of water <br />service outside the City limits shall be the same as <br />for installation within the City. <br /> <br /> 5.
