Resolution No. 19 9 9 - 0 2 3 <br />Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br />approval of the City Manager, to a position requiring the ability to take dictation at <br />a rate of 70 words per minute or better on a regular basis, or as an essential or integral <br />element of the work of the position, will be paid a monthly differential of sixty <br />dollars ($60) above his or her base monthly salary step for each full month (at least <br />eleven (11) working days) of such assignment." <br /> <br />b. adding the following pay designation to the list of special compensation <br /> <br />provisions: <br /> <br /> "(pp) An incumbent in the class of Payroll Assistant (UC) who, at the <br />discretion of the appointing authority, is regularly and continuously assigned to <br />serve in a "lead" supervisorial capacity, will be paid an additional ten (10) salary <br />rate ranges (5%) above the current base monthly salary step to which he or she <br />would otherwise be entitled." <br /> <br />adding the following pay designation to the list of special compensation <br /> <br />provisions: <br /> <br /> "(qq) An incumbent in the class of Graphics Designer II who, at the <br />discretion of the appointing authority, is regularly and continuously assigned to <br />serve in a "lead" supervisorial capacity, will be paid an additional ten (10) salary <br />rate ranges (5%) above the current base monthly salary step to which he or she <br />would otherwise be entitled." <br /> <br /> 3. That Section 3.5.1 Class Titles and Wage Rates for Seasonal and Other Unaffiliated <br />Categories of Non-Civil Service Part-Time Employment of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, <br />is hereby further amended by adding, in alphabetical sequence, the following part-time <br />classification titles, assigned to the five hourly pay steps as set forth below: <br /> <br />Classification Title <br /> <br />Basic Hourly Wage Rates Effective 7-1-99* <br />Step A Step B Step C Step D <br /> <br />Step E <br /> <br />Housing Authority Assistant $14.98 $15.73 $16.52 $17.35 $18.22 <br />Loss Control Office Assistant 13.47 14.14 14.85 15.59 16.37 <br /> <br />* Note: These rates do not include any negotiated increases for part-time non-civil service~classes <br />that may be effective on or after May 1, 1999. <br /> <br />That Section 3 of Resolution No. 96-095, as amended, is hereby further amended <br /> <br />by: <br /> <br /> a. adding, in alphabetical sequence, the classification title Budget and Research <br />Manager at five-step administrative management Salary Rate Range No. AM685 ($5905 minimum, <br />$7176 maximum per month). <br /> <br /> b. designating the classification Budget and Research Manager as unrepresented <br />administrative management by adding the parenthetical identifier (AM) next to this class title. <br /> <br /> c. providing an equity salary adjustment for the class of Detention Manager <br />(AM) by increasing the assigned salary from monthly five-step administrative management Salary <br />Rate Range No. AM601 (minimum $3915, maximum $4764) to Salary Rate Range No. AM630 <br />(minimum $4511, maximum $5488). <br /> <br /> <br />
