RESOLUTION NO. 2001-077 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA TO AMEND RESOLUTION NOS. 91-066 AND <br />96-095 TO AMEND THE COMPENSATION PLANS FOR <br />CERTAIN CLASSES OF EMPLOYMENT DESIGNATED AS <br />UNREPRESENTED MANAGEMENT. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana <br />requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position <br />classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations <br />and the approval of the City Council. <br /> <br />B. On July 1, 1991, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution <br />No. 91-066 re-establishing the Basic Classification and Compensation <br />Plan for classes of employment designated as unrepresented Executive <br />and Middle Management. <br /> <br />C. On November 18, 1996, the City Council passed and adopted <br />Resolution No. 96-095 establishing a Basic Classification and <br />Compensation Plan for classes of employment designated as <br />unrepresented Administrative Management. <br /> <br />D= <br /> <br />Said Resolution Nos. 91-066 and 96-095 have been amended from time <br />to time. <br /> <br />It is the City's desire to provide salary and benefit enhancements to <br />unrepresented Executive Management, Middle Management and <br />Administrative Management employees comparable to those that are <br />provided to represented non-management general service <br />"miscellaneous" employees during the period November 1, 2001 through <br />June 30, 2004. <br /> <br />It is now desired to amend Resolution Nos. 91-066 and 96-095 to effect <br />these changes. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
