That Subsection A of Section 2 Schedule of Salaries, as amended, is <br />hereby further amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"A. Three separate schedules showing salary rate ranges for classes of <br />employment designated as Executive Management (EM), general Middle <br />Management (MM), and Fire Battalion Chief (MM) are attached hereto and <br />made a part hereof as though set forth in full herein. The schedules for <br />Executive Management classes, general Middle Management classes, <br />and for the class of Fire Battalion Chief (MM), and their respective <br />effective dates are listed as follows: <br /> <br />Category of Employment <br /> <br />Salary <br />Schedule No. <br /> <br />Effective Date <br /> <br />Executive Management (EM) EM-02 <br /> <br />November 1,2001' <br /> <br />Middle Management (MM) MM-02 <br /> <br />November 1, 2001' <br /> <br />Fire Battalion Chief (MM) <br /> <br />BC-I / Attachment A, November 1, 2001 <br />Section 3 <br /> <br />*Effective July 1, 2002, the salary matrices showing monthly pay ranges <br />and steps in effect on June 30, 2002 assigned to classes of employment <br />designated as Executive Management (EM) and general Middle <br />Management (MM) shall be increased by 4%. These new salary matrices <br />shall be developed as set forth above and shall be shown as Salary <br />Schedules EM-03 and MM-03. <br /> <br />Similarly, effective July 1, 2003, the salary matrices showing the monthly <br />pay ranges and steps in effect on June 30, 2003 (EM-03 and MM-03) shall <br />be increased by 4%. The resulting new salary matrices shall be in effect <br />on and after July 1,2003, and shall be shown as Salary Schedules EM-04 <br />and MM-04." <br /> <br />That Section 3 of Schedule BC-1/Attachment A Salary for the <br />Classification Fire Battalion Chief (MM), as amended, is hereby further <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 3. Salaries <br />Effective November 1, 2001, the salary assigned to the class of Fire <br />Battalion Chief (MM) shall be Salary Rate Range No. M707 ($78,888 - <br />$95,858 per year). <br /> <br />Unless otherwise agreed to in negotiations with a bargaining unit that <br />represents the classification Fire Battalion Chief, on July 1, 2002, the <br />salary assigned to the class of Fire Battalion Chief (MM) shall be <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2001-077 <br />Page 2 of 11 <br /> <br /> <br />
