RESOLUTION ;lO. 58-206 Ai'fz~NOING RESOLUTIONS i,~O. 57-277, 57-280, ~[7-309 Ai~D 55-103 TO ~,~0DIFY PARKI~G 2k0HIBiTI0~S AND ~EGULATIONS ON EO!~TH ~,[AIN STREET BET~EN FIRST AND l'i'IN TH STREETS ,;~HEREAS, ~aeretofore the City Council of the City of S~a ta Ana adopted ~!esolutlon ~o. 57-277, whic~ was subse?~ently amended by Resolutions f~o. 57-250, 57-309 snd 58-103, all dealin~ with street parking on Nort~ Main Street; and ~EREAS, after study, the City Council has dete~nined to modify the temporary ~eriod of parking regulations; NOW, T[~R~F0~, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolutions mo. 57-277, 57-280, 57-309, ~ad 58-103 are hereby ~.~ended and modified by amend- paragraphs (1) ~d (3) of said desolution ~'~,~. 57-2~o0 to read as follows: "(1) ~o person s~all stop any vehicle or leave the sane standing on either side of ~,[ort ~ [Jain Street between the l]ortn line of First ~troet and the So~.~th line of .~intk Street i~ the City of S~ta Aha, -~o -~ · ~lm~omza, between the hours of 3:00 and 6:00 P.id. of ~y day, except ~hac such parki~ limitation shall not operate on any legal h ~liday, other than Saturdays, and except o~ the Eas~ ~ide of ~.orth ~si~. S~reot between Fifth Stre~t a~d ~ixth Street, '~ud except that buses may stop in marked loading zones to load and unload passengers, but not to stand saia buses for scked~;le ad~ustmonts, or otherwise. Any ve[~icle pa~ked in vlolatlo;~ of this provision is hereby elated to be an obstruction to traffic, as defined tn Section 585.2 of t e California Vehicle Code, and such vehicle saa!l be towed away in tho mariner provided for and under tho provis- ions of s~id Vehicle Code. The City Council declares that it prese~tly intends that this parkin~ prohibition and limitation shall remain in effect until suck time as four lanes are pro- vided for movi~.u traffic on ['ort~ lain Street between Street ~d ~eventeentn ~tre~t.~' "(3) ~o operator shall stop any versicle and leave the s~,~e parked on either side of ~orth !~ain Street between the North line of ~trst Street and the ~out~ llne of ~inti~ Street for a period of time lon~er th~u one hour, between 9:00 ~.i!. and 3:00 P.U. of any day, except legal holidays other than Saturdays."
