The CPI will be rounded up or down and the salary <br />steps will be changed in accordance with the following formula: <br /> <br />CPI Salary Increase <br /> <br />0-.600 = 0.50% <br />.610-1.19 = 1.00% <br />1.20-1.60 = 1.50% <br />1.61-2.19 = 2.00% <br />2.20 or higher = 2.5% <br /> <br />These new salary matrices shall be developed as set forth above and shall be shown as Salary <br />Schedules EM-00 and MM-00. <br /> <br />**Effective July 1, 2001, the salary matrices showing monthly pay ranges and steps assigned <br />to classes of employment designated as Executive Management (EM) and Middle Management <br />(MM) shall be increased by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), not to exceed 2.5% for the Los <br />Angeles-Anaheim-Riverside area for the period April 1, 2000 through April 30, 2001, based <br />on the category "All Urban Consumers."
