That Section 3 of Schedule BC-1/Attachment A Salary for the <br />Classification Fire Battalion Chief (MM), as amended, is hereby further amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />"Section 3. Salaries <br />Effective September 1, 1999, the salary assigned to the class of Fire Battalion Chief (MM) will <br />be increased from five step Salary Rate Range No. M690, (Step A, $6050-Step E, $7355) to <br />Salary Rate Range No. M697 (Step A, $6260-Step E, $7609) per month. <br /> <br />Effective July 1, 2000, the base salary level assigned to the class of Fire Battalion Chief (MM) <br />shall be increased by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), not to exceed 2.5%, for the Los <br />Angeles-Anaheim-Riverside area for the period April 1, 1999 through April 30, 2000, based <br />on the category "All Urban Consumers."
