RESOLUTION NO. ~0~1, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONDEMNATION OF CERTAIN PARCELS OF <br />REAL PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC STR~T PURPOSES AND DECTARING THE <br />PUBLIC NECESSITY OF ~AID USE <br /> <br />WR~m~EAS, EAST SEVENTEENTH STREET as it mow exists in the City <br /> <br />of Santa Ama, California is inadequate in width, condition and align- <br /> <br />meat to aosommedato tho present and fmture demands of traffic thereon <br /> <br />and because thereof is a present and oontimuing traffic hazard; <br /> <br />NOW, Tw~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City <br /> <br />of Santa Aha does hereby find amd determimo that the pmblic interest <br /> <br />amd necessity require that East Seventeenth Street between Main and <br /> <br />Santiago Streets, be widened and improved as shown on a map thereof <br /> <br />on file in the Office of the City Engineer and herein referred to for <br /> <br />greater detail, to accommodate the present and future demands of traf- <br /> <br />fie thereon and further require that said City do have~ take and <br /> <br />acquire fee title for said purpose in and to those parcels of land <br /> <br />lying in the City of Santa Ann, County of Orange, Stats of California, <br /> <br />and described aa: <br /> <br />PARCEL 1: The Southerly 10 feet of Lot 13, Block B, Wiley <br />Addition to the Town ofSanta ~na as per map thereof re- <br />corded in Book 17, Page 36, Miscellaneous Records of Los <br />Angeles 0ounty, California, and Map of Wlley's Addition re- <br />corded in Book 1, Page 86, Miscellaneous Record Maps of <br />Orange County, California. <br /> <br />PARCEL 2: The Northerly 10 feet of ~Lot 1~ Block B, in ~ood-, <br />win's A~dition to the Town of Santa &ne, uounty of Orange, <br />State of California, as per map thereof recorded in Book 13, <br />at Page 48, of Miscellaneous Recor&s of Los Angeles County, <br />State of California. <br /> <br />as per map thereof recorded in Book 17.
