I~-a member retires for service before <br />attaining age 55, his pr~o~~ service pension shall be reduced to that <br />amount v~ich th-~ value of the pension as deferred to age ~_~Sv~ill purchase <br />at the actual age of retirement. <br /> <br />The provisions of Section ~!25~b of the State E~aployees' Retirement Law, <br />guaranteeing a minLn,'m retirement allo'~vance ~mder certain conditions <br />shall apply to persons v;ho are members because of employment by <br />Public Agency. <br /> <br />The pro~nbsions of Section 21367.5 of the State Employees' Retirement Law, <br />prov_amng a ~300 da~th benefit after retirement sh~ll apply to <br />persons ~?ho ore members because of am~ployment by Public Agency. <br /> <br />~e provisions of Section 2002~ of the State Empiovees' Retirement Law, <br />providi~g that there shall be no max~num l~mitation in the compensation <br />which shall be included in computatior~s under the Retirement Law, <br />shall apply to employees of Public Agency who become members of <br />said Retirement System. <br /> <br />Public Azency shall contribute to said Retirement System as follows: <br /> <br />a. The stem of ~; $~0~.00 ~er ann~m, or more frequent installments as <br /> Beard shall require, for the period of years stated in said Contract, <br /> less the tfme elapsed from the date of participation to the effective <br /> date hereof. <br /> <br />b. ~'U~I- ~er cent of total salaries paid by Public A~ency each month <br /> to its employees who are members of said Retirement ~ystem, prox~ded <br /> that only salarv earned as members of said System shall be included in <br /> said total salaries, ~nd the employees vSno are members of said System <br /> shall include employees who are members upon the effective date hereof <br /> and employees %.~ho become members thereafter. <br /> <br />c. A reasonable amount per ann~m, as fixed by Board, to cover the costs <br /> of administering said System as it affects the employees of Public <br /> Agency, not includinff the costs of special valuations or of the peri- <br /> odical investigation and valuation required By law, provided that <br /> said amount shall be determined on the basis of the n~m~ber of employees <br /> of Public Agency ¥~o are members on July 1st of the respective fiscal <br /> years. <br /> <br />d.
