RESOLUTION NO. 5093 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE CITY ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER <br />AS CHIEF OF THE MISCELLA~EOUS DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED: That from and after the ~h~_ day of <br />November , 1951 CARL J. THORNTON, Administrative Officer of the <br />City of Santa Aha, California, shall be and is hereby designated <br />and appointed to act as Chief of the Miscellaneous Department and <br />as such he shall have the power of preferring charges against any <br />member of such Miscellaneous Department and shall have all of the <br />other prerogatives and duties of a Department Chief over employees <br />performing the following functions or holding the following posi- <br />tions: Telephone operator, payroll office employees, personnel <br />clerk, Casa de Santa Aha employees, museum employees, purchasing <br />office employees, and civilian de~ense~coordinator, which said <br />positions and/or employees are not members of any Department, the <br />Chief of which is named in Section 30.05 of City Ordinance Number <br />1056 as amended by Ordinance Number 1197. This appointment is made <br />under the authority contained in the Section of the Ordinance next <br />hereinabove referred to. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Paragraph Numbered (1) of <br /> <br />Resolution Number 3882 adopted December 15, 19~9 <br />rescinded and repealed. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by t~e City Council of <br />Aha at its <br /> <br /> November , 1951. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />is hereby revoked, <br /> <br /> the City of Santa <br />regular meeting held on t~e ~th day of <br /> <br /> <br />
