RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING CONDE~NATION OF <br />CERTAIN PROPERTY AT THE SOUTI~'~ST OO~ OF FIRST AND <br />MC CLAY STREETS FOR THE PURPOSES OF A PUBLIC STREET AND <br />DECLARING THE NECESSITY THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ann has determined the necessity <br /> <br />for the installation end construction of certain Street work as a <br /> <br />connecting link between Grand Avenue and McClay Street; and <br /> <br />V~'EREAS, after study, the necessity for placing said street <br /> <br />work on the property hereinbelow described has been determined and <br /> <br />the engineering study incidental thereto has been done; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City <br /> <br />of Santa ~na does hereby find and determine that the public interest <br /> <br />and necessity require that the City acquire and take an easement <br /> <br />across, through and upon that certain real property located in the <br /> <br />City of Santa Ann, 0ounty of Orange, State of California and de- <br /> <br />scribed as: <br /> <br />Parcel "A": Beginning at a point in the north line of Sec- <br />tion 18, Township 5 S., Range 9 W., S.B.B. & M., westerly <br />516.72' from the northeast corner thereof; thence southerly <br />along a line making an angle with said north line of 90v, ~ <br />distance of 30' to the beginning of a curve; thence south- <br />easterly along the arc of a curve concave northeasterly, <br />having a radius of 640' through a central angle of 16° 45' <br />15", an arc distance of 187.14' to a point; thence Northerly <br />along a line parallel to the East line of said Section 18, <br />which makes an angle with the North line of said Section 18 <br />of 89° 20' 30" measured in the Southwest quadrant, a dis- <br />tance of 184.50' to a point; thence Northerly along a line <br />parallel to the first described course a distance of 30 feet <br />to the North line of said Section 18; thence Westerly along <br />said Northerly line 29.29' to the point of beginning. <br />EXCEPTING therefrom any portion previously granted for street <br />purposes. <br /> <br />Parcel "B": Beginning at a point in the North line of Section <br />18, T. 5 S~., R. 9 W., S.B.B. & M., Westerly 436.72 feet from <br />the Northeast corner thereof; thence Southerly along a line <br />making an angle with said North line of 90°, a distance of 30 <br />feet to the beginning of a curve; thence Southeasterly along <br />the arc of a curve concave Northeasterly having a radius of <br />560 feet ~hrough a central angle of 32o 30' 00" an arc dis- <br />tance of 317.65 feet to the beginning of a tangent; thence <br />Southeasterly along said tangent line a distance of 185.87 <br />feet to a point; thence Southerly along a line parallel to the <br />east line of said Section 18, which makes an angle with the <br />NOrth line of said Section 18 of 89°.20! 30", measured in the <br />Southwest quadrant, a distance of 146.26 feet to a point; <br />thence Northwesterly along a line parallel to the third <br /> <br /> <br />
