RESOLUTION NO. 4036 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on the 6th day of March, 1950, the City Council <br /> <br />of the City of Santa Aha passed Resolution No. 3907 requesting <br />that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange grant aid <br />to said City as authorized by the Streets and Highways Code from <br />the funds apportioned to said County out of the California Highway <br />Users' Tax Fund in amount of Forty Thousand Four Hundred Seventy- <br />three Dollars ($40,473.00); Twenty-six Thousand Six Hundred Ninety- <br />nine Dollars and Thirty-four Cents ($26,699.34) to be expended to <br />improve Bristol Street from Wilshire Avenue to Delhi Road and <br />Thirteen Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-three Dollars and Sixty-six <br />Cents ($13,773.66) to be expended for the improvement of Edinger <br />Street from Flower Street to Bristol Street; and <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, the County of Orange found such improvements to be <br />in the general County interest and said requests were granted; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the improvements to said Streets as proposed and <br />approved have now been completed and the work on Edinger Street <br />required less than the amount allocated, leaving an unused balance <br />of Two Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy-eight Dollars and One Cent <br />($2,875.01) and the work on Bristol Street required the expenditure <br />by said City in excess of Twenty-six Thousand Six ~undred Ninety-nine <br />Dollars and Thirty-four Cents ($26,699.34) allocated thereto of the <br />sum of Two Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-one Dollars and Forty-one <br />Cents $2,S91o41); <br /> <br /> NOW, T~L~tEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha <br />hereby requests that the County of Orange grant and approve a trans- <br />fer of the unused allocation to ~dinger Street in amount of Two <br />Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy-eight Dollars and One Cent ($2,S75.01) <br />to the improvement of Bristol Street between Wilshire Avenue and <br />Delhi Road which improvement has been made in accordance with the <br />plans on file in the office of Harold Springer, County Road Commis- <br />sioner. <br /> <br /> <br />
