RESOLUTION NO. 5037 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CREATING THE POSITION OF CIVIL DEFENSE CO- <br />ORDINATOR AND FIXING THE SALARY THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore the City Council has determined the ad- <br /> visability of employing a full time Co-ordinator to establish and <br /> complement the Civil Defense and Disaster Council program, to re- <br /> cruit and train personnel and to perform such other duties as he <br /> may be directed to perform; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That there is hereby cre- <br />ated the position of Co-ordinator of the Civil Defense and Disas- <br />ter Council who shall have the duty of assisting the various Of- <br />ficials appointed by the City of Santa Ana, of implementing the <br />programs outlined by them and of rendering such other service as <br />may be required. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the salary for said position <br />shall be Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00) per month and that <br />such salary shall start and take effect from the day upon which a <br />person is employed by the City Council to fill the position here- <br />by created. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br /> <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of August <br />1951. <br /> <br />CITY CLERK <br /> <br />(SEg) <br /> <br /> <br />
