RESOLUTION NO. 50~7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTNENT TO <br />DESIGNATE CERTAIN CITY STREETS AS MAJOR CITY STREETS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ann has received notice from the <br />State Highway Department that on and after September 22, 1951, West <br />First Street, Grand Avenue and McClay Street will no longer be State <br />Highway Routes through the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, each of said Streets is an important link and/or <br />part of the highway system of the City of Santa Ann and the County of <br />Orange; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City <br />of Santa Ann hereby respectfully requests and petitions the Highway <br />Department of the State of California to designate West First Street, <br />Grand Avenue and McClay Street which said Streets have heretofore <br />been State Highways, as Major City Streets because of their impor- <br />tance to the integrated Highway System as it now exists in said City <br />and the County of Orange. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br /> <br /> regular meeting held on the 20th day of <br /> <br /> , 1951. <br /> <br />Ann et its <br />August <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) ss <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />I, ERMA KEELER, City Cler~nd Ex-officio ClerE of the City Council <br />of the City of Santa Ann, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution <br />was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Aaa at its regular meeting held ca the 20th <br />day of AuKust , 1951, by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />AYES, <br /> <br />TRUSTEES: William Jerome, J.L.
