RESOLU O 5058 <br /> <br />RESOLUTI~// OF THE OITY ~O~NCIL OF <br />THE CITY O~ SANTA Am*A,, CAL~ <br /> <br /> On motion of Counci]--n __ J*Le _McBride. , duly seconded and carried, <br /> <br /> the foLlow~-~ Resolution was adopted: <br /> <br /> THAT ~As~ under date of August 14, 1951, the Beard ef Supervisors of the <br />Orange County Flood Control District ef Orange County, California, made and adopted its <br />Resolmtion requestiug the Metre1~l~an Water District of Southern C~ldfornia to sell te <br />said Orange County Flood Control District 25'000 acre ft. of surplus water to be im- <br />ported into Orange County to s~p-plement the underground basin of Orange County to the <br /> <br /> benefit of the people and citizenry of said county, and that <br /> <br /> ~, a copy ef said Resolution has been filed with this Council, and that <br /> ~AS, the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California has requested <br /> this City to signify its approval of the purchase of said surplus water by the Orange <br /> County Flood Control District. <br /> <br /> NO~, T~EI~I~, BE IT ~SOLVED AND ~ that this Council dcos hereby signify <br /> its ~pproval as a member of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California for <br /> said Orange County Flood Control District to make said purchase of said 25,000 acre ft. <br /> of surplus water. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPT~ by the City Council of the City o£ Santa Aha at <br /> its regular meeting held on the 2Otb day of August 1951. <br /> <br /> CITY CLERK (Sm) <br /> <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br /> COUNTY OF ORANGE ) ss <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I.
