R SOLUTION <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE METROPOLITAN WAT~ DISTRICT OF <br />SOUTP[ERN CALIFORNIA TO CONSTRUCT A SERVICE CONNECTION NFJuR <br />DELHI ROAD AND BRISTOL STREET FOR THE USE OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA FOR WHICH CONNECTION THE CITY AGREES TO PAY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Water Superinten~en~ of the City of Santa Aaa <br /> hereafter designated as "SANTA ANA" has requested that a service <br /> connection be constructed upon the Orange County feeder of The Metro- <br /> politan Water District of Southern California, hereinafter designa- <br /> ted as "METROPOLITAN", for delivery of water by METROPOLITAN to <br /> SANTA ARA for use within Santa Aaa; and <br /> <br /> WasaEAS, the City Council of Santa Aha by Resolution No. <br /> adopted August 20, 1951, has confirmed said request for the instal- <br /> lation of such service connection; and <br /> <br /> WH]~EAS, the Board of Directors of METROPOLITAN adopted a Reso- <br />lution, at its meeting held on the 17th day of August, 1951 with re- <br />gard to the construction of such service connection to serve SANTA <br />ARA; and <br /> <br /> WN~REAS, it is proper, under the policy of METROPOLITAN that <br />such service connection be constructed at the expense of SANTA ANA <br />and without cost to METROPOLITAN, upon the terms and conditions and <br />in the manner hereinafter in this Resolution provided; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That METROPOLITAN be, and it <br />hereby is, requested to construct the service connection referred to <br />in the recitals hereof, and such construction hereby is authorized <br />on behalf of SANTA ANA, in the manner and upon the terms and conditions <br />prescribed in said Resolution of METROPOLITAN and herein set forth; <br />to-wit: <br /> <br /> 1. Said service connection shall be located on the Orange <br />County feeder of METROPOLITAN at such point at or near Delhi Road and <br />Bristol Street near the Southerly boundary of Santa Ann as may be mu- <br />tually agreed upon by the Water Superintendent of Santa Ana and the <br />General Manager and Chief Engineer of ~TROPOLITAN. <br /> <br /> <br />
