the notice heretofore served upon the City of Newport Beach for <br />~ period of sixty days from October 5, 1951, and have authorized <br />and requested the City of Santa Ana, as contracting agent for <br />said Cities and Sanitary Districts to notify the City of <br />Beach that the date of termination of said agreement will be <br />postponed for a period of sixty days for the purpose of permit- <br />ting further negotiations for an extension or renewal of said <br />agreement. <br /> <br /> iTOh, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLV~ that the City Clerk of the <br />City of Santa Aha be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed <br />on behalf o£ the Cities of Anaheim, Fullerton, Orange, and Santa <br />Ana and for the Buena Park, Garden Grove, La Habra, and Placentia <br />Sanitary Districts, to serve upon the City of Herbert Beach, a <br />municipal corporation of the 8th class of the State of Califor- <br />nia, hereinabove referred to and being the party of the second <br />part undsr the provisions of that said agreement heretofore <br />entered into on or about the 5th day of 0otober, 19~S, by and <br />between the said Cities and Sanitary Districts named therein as <br />parties of the first part, a notice in writing notifying s~id <br />City of Herbert Beach that the date of termination of said agree- <br />ment as specified in said notice of termination hereinabove <br />referred to, shall be postponed for a period of sixty days from <br />and after October ~, 19~l, ~or the purpose of permitting further <br />negotiations for an extension or rene~al of said agreement. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all of the rights and <br /> <br /> of said Cities and Sanitary Districts under said contract and the <br /> notice of termination thereof shall be end remain in full £orcc <br /> <br /> waived <br /> <br />and effect and shall in no wise be cancelled, terminated, <br />or affected by reason of the postponement of the date of <br />ation. <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />termin- <br /> <br /> THE FOREGOIt!G RESOLUTI0I~ is signed and approved by me <br />1st day of Octobe~ , 1951. <br /> <br /> Mayor o$/~he City of Santa Xna <br /> <br />City Clerk of the City of Santa Ana <br /> <br /> <br />
