RESOLUTION NO. 5111 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SANTA ANA RELATIVE TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF ADDITIONAL <br /> FACILITIES IN SECTION i OF THE JOINT 0UTFALL SEW~ <br /> OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> WMEREAS, the Cities of ~naheim, ~ullerton, 0~a~ge and Santa <br />Ann and the Sanitary Districts of Buena Park, Garden Grove, La <br />Habra and Placentia have heretofore, to-wit, on the 28th day of <br />February, 1951, made and entered into an agreement with County San- <br />itation Districts Nos. l, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, and ll, wherein and whereby <br />said Cities and Sanitary Districts agreed to sell and said County <br />Sanitation Districts agreed to buy Section i of the Orange County <br />Joint 0utfall Sewer of Orange County, California, upon the terms and <br />conditions as more particularly set forth in said agreement, and <br /> <br /> ~HEREAS, under and by virtue of the terms of said agreement, <br />said County Sanitation Districts did promise and agree to construct <br />additional facilities adequate for the treatment and disposal into <br />the ocean of all sewage arising within the boundaries of said Cities <br />and Sanitary Districts and that they would, in accordance with the <br />requirements of the State Health Department of the State of Califor- <br />nia, treat, handle and dispose of such sewage through the facilities <br />purchased from said Cities and Sanitary Districts and additional <br />facilities to be constructed by said Sanitation Districts, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said ~ounty ~anitation Districts have voted bonds to <br />obtain fu~s with which to construct a land and marine outfall sewer <br />and said additional facilities to treat, handle and dispose of all <br />sewage in accordance with the terms of the agreement heretofore made <br />and entered into on the 28th day of February, 1951, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said agreement so made and entered into on the 28th day <br />of February, 1951, provides that it shall become null and void in <br />the event that the proceeds of the bonds of the several County San- <br />itation Districts are insufficient to construct and provide adequate <br />facilities for the treatment and disposal of the sewage aforesaid. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Co~ucil of the City <br />of Santa Ann that in the event that said County Sanitation Districts <br /> <br /> <br />
